Hi there!!!!! its been awhile since ive hung around here...my question is my periods are due on 12th of sep...but my gut tells me this is it...im too anxious and cannot wait so im gonna test using the home pregnancy kit...can someone tell me if itll give me the right answer or is it too early to know...

ok so tested cos i couldnt wait but got to see only 1 line but i know this is my month and im psitive to see a BFP this month for sure...thanks ladys but im sorry i tested cos i was too anxious...

You can take a test, but I would save yourself any dissappointment by testing the day of your missed period.  I only say that because testing early works for some people but not all, since HCG levels are different for every woman at every stage.  I tested 3 days before my period because it was hubby and my's wedding anniversary and I thought it would be a nice gift, well I got a VERY faint positive and a NOT PREGNANT with the digital.  I then tested the day after my missed period and got a definite positive with a PREGNANT.  I'll tell you I did get kinda upset about the faint positive because I really wasn't sure what to think, plus I started getting period like cramping which made me think my period was coming.  So I always try to advise women to wait, not saying it will not happen but just in case it's too early.  Best of luck for you!

i might be due on the 13th (period was 5 days early last month so i dont know if my cycle is now 23 days or still 28, if that makes sense) and i am feeling positive this month too, but i am going to wait until that day. cause i think i would like to see a clear positive and not just a faint one.  so i would wait but if you can't wait then make sure your test is sensitive enough to take four days before your expected period.
