is my body defying medical science?

Is my body defying medical science. Since last September, I had symptoms of pregnancy. I did tests and they all came out negative. In November, I bled for three days as opposed to my normal heavy flow for seven days. The doc asked me to do a scan. It said I had three fibroids. I had 'periods' which did not last as long as my normal cycle and a deviation from my 28 day cycle. By March, my tummy was protruding and I had another scan which said two fibroids. My breasts are enlarged. I have not been pregnant before but I know the movement I feel within are not ordinary. Last week I had another scan which read one fibroid. Doctors depend on scans and tests. Two traditional birth attendants I saw separately tell me I am eight months pregnant. In fact with the second one I felt movement when her hand formed a circle on the lower abdomen. Ordinarily I wouldn't have been worried cos if it is a child it will be delivered but I have to be cos I do know there are vaccines and drugs to be taken during pregnancy. Please can u help?

At 8 months you would have felt baby move sooooo much. My sister has a fibroid and she said it feels like she's pregnant from it. Its so big that it pushes on her bladder making her feel like she had top pee all the time. During her period she cant eat because any you're of bloating causes a lot of discomfort. The fibroid messes her periods up bad. Have you had your period all 8 months? When you take a pregnancy test it would tell you as well bc the hormones in your body to keep baby alive. I truly don't think you are pregnant if the scans didn't show in the ultrasound.ESP if you had one last week. They would have seen the baby. Did you ask them how big the fibroid is? On a Good note if you are wanting children you can still get pregnant with fibroids :)

Two birth attendants told you were pregnant without doing an internal scan, U/S, blood test? That blows my mind, they can't go just because they "feel" movement, many things can cause pregnancy symptoms, hormonal imbalance being one. Also, the protruding stomach can be from tumors, thyroid problems, etc, movement can be gas, (I've had some CRAZY gas before and not know it, just moved my stomach around, and had I not known better, it would have felt identical to a baby kicking). If you've gotten a blood test, and done MANY HPT's, I'd say, trust them. At some point they would come back positive, especially if you were almost ready to deliver. Because if you've had symptoms of pregnancy since last september, you're almost full term, and ready to deliver. Also, an U/S will not lie, and a full term baby cannot hide in the womb this far along, you'd be able to see a clear baby on an U/S now. So either way you'll find out soon enough if you're in labor or not in labor! Good luck!
