is this because of the baby

im 17 weeks now. when ever i have pain its ALWAYS on my left side. never on my right. but i still cant determine a kick or anything.
i just find this weird.
i dont find the need to go to the doctors.
im just curious has this happened to anyone else.

well i just went to the doctor today actually =]
everything is good heart beat and all that and i brought up the sharp pain in the left side.
i guess the baby is favoring that side. they looked for the heart beat and sure enough it was on that side.
it was growing pains and stretching. they said if it lasts for awhile to go to the er.

but thank god everything is ok.
i still wanna feel it move. its hard to distinguish for me

I usually feel shooting pains and sometimes a more constant pain either on my left side or my entire lower belly. I was told it was stretching but I had it once so bad for an entire week straight with no relief. I was tested for UTI and had an u/s and they couldn't figure it out.  Now I just get it every now and then. But I wanted to be on the safe side, so I'm glad they tested me and checked me out at least. I would just check with your doc and rule out everything to be safe.

i get the pain every new week actually.
like everytime i go into a new week so 15 weeks it wasnt bad 16 weeks it got sharp kinda and its always on the left side actually

Could be round ligament pain. How often do you get the pain? It can be a little different for everyone, but usually nothing to worry about. This will be 2nd baby and the pains have been a lot worse this time around.

Hey...I get those now and remember when I got them with my 1st pregnancy. My doctor called them growing pains. Mine were usually a little sharp but went away really quick. Good Luck and Congrats!
