is this decidual bleeding?

is this decidual bleeding? 4 days prior to AF i got a very faint line on HPT. That evening starting heavy bleeding with clots. bleeding only lasted two days. I know my stress level has been high (death in family, custody issues with ex, husband deploying, stepson incarcerated).    I read that hormones can be crazy and also effect pregnancy tests. I tested negative day after bleeding started.  I dont have an OB GYN just regular doctor who really doesnt seem to care. Just wondering when should i test again, and any chance i could be pregnant?

Hey hun, I'm sorry to hear you are having such a stressful time at the moment with everything that is going on. Right on to your question. It doesn't matter how crazy things are in your life, if the line shows up in the test area of the pregnancy test and you have read it in the alloted time (usually 5-10 mins) then it indicates that you could be pregnant, because it is detecting some amount of the HCG hormone in your urine. However, stress, especially in large quantities is never good for you especially not in early pregnancy, It sounds like you may have been pregnant very briefly, but you may have miscarried, this is not definite however, I would arrange an appontment with a doctor that does care or see an OB GYN, and if your not sure they can maybe test your serum levels and send you for a scan. Again I am not a doctor and I don't know for sure, but bleeding in early pregnancy is not normal especially not with clotting. The good sign is it only lasted a couple of day. let me know what happens if you can. good luck to you and i hope that all goes well for you :)

It's possible that you had a chemical pregnancy.  You could test again in a week but heavy bleeding and passage of clots during pregnancy is normally an indicator that a miscarriage has occurred,
