is this normal?

When I went to the doctor they measured my stomach and I was 35cm. I've been told you are suppose to measure around the same number of weeks you are. Well if that's the case then I'm way over. I'm only 25 weeks.

My 2nd child measured 10 weeks ahead at that point also. They scheduled a sonogram and I was told he was just really big. He ended up being born via induction at 36 weeks weighing 8 lbs. Since you get a sonogram every week, they should be able to tell you whats going on at your next one. Could be extra fluid, position of baby, etc. Take care

It is possible you missheard them. Because they definitely would have sent for an ultrasound if you were measuring 10 weeks ahead.

It doesn't matter how big or small your belly is that's not what they are measuring. They are actually measuring the uterus which should range in the same cm as weeks you are in. I would definitely ask the Dr what's going on because that's a huge cm gap

Its ok..at 28 weeks i measured 33...it depends on the position of your baby...but i have big babies anyway. .my first was 8 pounds 10 ounces. ..this is my second and at 33 weeks he was already 5 pounds

Talk to your Dr but if he isn't concerned it's probably nothing. Does this happen to be your second pregnancy. Your uterus grows faster with a second pregnancy because it's already been stretched before.

Yeah I wouldn't be too concerned only if you measure under then the doctors need to see what is happening. Everyone grows differently and carries their weight in different areas.  Congratulations on your baby!

Kind of depends on your body type. Bigger women sometimes measure bigger. Doesn't necessarily mean your due date is wrong or that your baby is gonna be big. I'm fairly petite and always measured a week or 2 behind. My baby was 6lbs 4oz and was 19". That's average in my family.

I mean I know that some people are bigger than others and everybody's body grows different but I honestly don't know about being that far ahead. My aunt was always bigger than me and she was due 2 months after I was. Her baby was small tho. Came 3 weeks early and was only like 5 lbs. I think she just carried Alot of water and being so tiny it showed more. How much does ur baby weigh?

I've never heard of this . A baby can't measure 10 weeks ahead . Have you gotten a sonogram to say how far along you are ?
