itchy nipples

My nipples are itchy and its annoying what is this about and is it normal? Plus i have these horrible headaches what can i do to calm them? They hurt bad especially in the morning when i awake

Dont forget to drink lots of water! I was having headaches and remembered I needed to be drinking lots of water. Withing a day the headaches werent as intense. I took Tylenol too like once a day to not over due it. As for the itchy nipples, try cocoa butter...i use cocoa butter and also for the stretch marks on my breasts. Two in one. Haha. I hope you feel better. Those headaches are miserable.

Totally normal, just another joy of pregnancy and mommy hood. Try a little hydro cortisone cream if it's really bad or even Vaseline can help. As for the headaches I get them really bad too. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is sage to take, but in moderation of course. Ibprofren and aspirin can be potentially harmful to baby so stay away from those. I'd say just stick to regular Tylenol. But if your headaches are really bad lime mine were then talk to your doctor and they can prescribe you something. My doc prescribed me Amitriptyline do my headaches and it's to or event them by taking one a day and it's worked wonders for me. It also makes me sleepy so I take one at night before bed and I sleep great which is a plus since most pregnant women have trouble with that too. Is till have to take Tylenol occasionally but the prescribed ones really have helped to prevent them. Hope this helps.
