The itchy scalp is from the change in hormones and also can be linked to lack of iron.  The only help is to start taking extra iron and using a Eucalyptus/Lavender and Tea Tree Antiseptic spray.  It may sting a bit but it will settle and it works.  Changing shampoos etc does not work as it is not a result of a scalp issue as such, it is directly linked to the pregnancy or after pregnancy and hormones.

When o got pregnant I had a really itchy scalp. I switched shampoos and it helps a lot. I went from using tresseme or however its spelled to using head and shoulders dandruff shampoo and I no longer have an itchy scalp. The same thing happened with my body wash. Everything made me itchy so I switched to baby body wash. I use Johnson and Johnson baby wash with moisturizer and I don't itch anymore

If you see small little flakes on your scalp switch shampoos. Thats whats causing it. Use a shampoo with tree tea oil.

Shampooing your hair twice a day is actually really bad for your hair, and it will dry out your scalp which will lead to it being itchy. I'm not sure about greasing it, though.
