killer contraction

Okay ladies I'm 30 wks pregnant, and I have had the lovely braxton Hicks for a good few weeks.  But nothing to major but last night I was laying in bed asleep and I felt my whole stomach tighten up and so much pressure on my lower abdomen, it was so uncomfortable it woke me up outta my sleep. Okay I thought no big deal it will pass but itdidn't it held on for a good few hours I called the doctor this morning cause my stomach aches so bad from being tight for so long during the night. I don't know what to do? Never experienced anything like that with previous pregnancy. Need advice, wisdom anything y'all......

Ya it's horrible! But the nurse called me back and is pulling me in for a sono today just to make sure everything is okay, which I'm a little freaked out about cause she was very persistent. But everything has been okay so I'm sure everything will be fine. I'm hoping!

I wish I had some advice for you but sadly I don't.... I am 35 weeks 4 days and every once in a while during the day I get one of those contractions and then my tummy is super sore all day... my doctor pretty much said that unless i am getting more than 4 in an hour there is nothing they can do and I just have to deal with it... I take Tylenol and usually a warm bath or shower helps a little bit
