laxatives?? be warned, TMI!

As with my first pregnancy im suffering with chronic constipation again!

Iv tried natural remidies - fruit and veg, drinking mass amounts of water and fruit juices and cramming my diet with fibre. Medications - lactulose, senna, movicol and dulcolax all with no result! Dulcolax wakes me up in the middle of the night with cramps, cold sweats and mild diaohrea and goes on for hours still without completely emptying my bowels :(

Had enough, im pysically ready to burst! Im feeling the need to go but when i get to the loo, nothing! Its too hard to pass and the longer it goes on the harder it gets! Iv gone weeks now without a proper bowel movement. Completely at my whits end with it all! Can ANYONE recommend anything that will work from personal experience? Something thats obviously safe to use during pregnancy!  Anyone with any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

starting to feel like the only person in the world that suffers with this the way iv been :( currently waiting for an appointment with a gastroenteritis doctor but dont know how long i can bare to wait anymore! :(:(

My midwife prescribes me Doc q lace. It works pretty well as long as you drink nothing but water.
