I agree with the above posters. It is possible that you may have been pregnant and it showed up on your urine test, then you went on to miscarry. Although, if you used a blue dye test, these are notorious for giving you a false positive. I've had them myself several times.
However, a quantitative blood test tells you the amount of hcg that is found in your bloodstream. Usually, in most lab settings, a reading of under 5 (other times its under 25) is considered negative. A reading of 1 and then 0 is pretty definitive that you are not pregnant. Like Clysta said, a qualitative blood test would just say yes or no, but given the fact that you know your numbers and they are so low, you are not pregnant.
Hi there!!..im sorry bout your negative results..there's a posibility that you were pregnant.but if your HCG levels were 1 hmm thats actually a negative results and then having a 0...sometimes the home pregnancy test are not acurate..however will be better to have HCG levels blood drawn to see if you have increase or not!!...last month my hcg levels were at 6 then increase to 100 but unfortunately i had a early miscarriage at 3 weeks...Keep crossing your fingers and Good Luck!!
What kind of test did you take? Like was it blue dye or pink, how long did it take for the result to come up, and what time of day did you test. If you have a level of 1 and then 0, no test is positive. There are also two kinds of blood tests. You had a quantitative blood test. These are never wrong. The test you CAN show negative on is qualitative hCG blood test. This is similar to a urine test and just says yes/no. I'm sorry, but no you wouldn't be pregnant based on these levels.
