low hormone levels?

Ive been bleeding heavily since Wednesday, its friday now and it still hasnt stopped. I went to the er on weds and they did a hormone test and my levels were 215, and when I went back in today they did another test and they were only 238. She said I might have lost the baby, but if they went up doesnt that mean the baby is still growing? Does that mean im miscarriaging? And has anyone else had a successful pregnancy with low hormone levels?

Well im only about 3 weeks pregnant ive read a lot about other women who had low levels their whole pregnancy but I just dont understand how it would go up if lost the baby. :(

Your body needs to pass the baby completely for your levels to start going down again. I'm sorry but it's highly probable that you've might of lost this baby. Your levels should have doubled unless it was ectopic but I'm sure you would have been told.
