make up

I am wondering if anyone has worn makeup during birth and how did it go? I am planning on wearing it with this birth bc i looked so horrible in the pics with my son. I know that giving birth is no walk in the park so its understandable looking rough but i really would like to help it if i can. Does it help any?

I'd just bring it with you to reapply afterwards...

Depends on the make up you use. Some wear off or smudge. I use mac and its awesome. After long nights at the bar ( bartender ) on at Patrick day where I'm running around sweating like crazy. My hair is no longer straight and my face has a glow but makeup still looks great. Try it. Its awesome

I tried. Lol but after 30 hrs of labor it's the last thing on your mind. Plus I swelled up.... Something that's never happened to me .... Not cute haha

I didn't pack any in my hospital bag. When I gave birth I had a dr's appt that morning and she sent me over to the hospital unexpectedly to induce my labor so I was already wearing makeup anyways. I always have been a firm believer that if you look good you'll feel good so if wearing makeup makes you feel more comfortable and confident I say go for it

get Maybelline Stiletto mascara. I've worn it in swimming pools for hours nd wiping my face nd water everywhere nd it never runs..the downside, its nearly impossible to get it off when you want it to come off lol

I don't plan on it just because you will probably sweat/cry it all off anyway. Kinda like at the end of prom, your hair all a mess as well. Ya know? lol. But I guess you could pack some in your hospital bag and put a little on after you get cleaned up.
