I had something similar. I was told at my 20 week ultrasound that I had a low lying placenta, but I wasn't put on or told any restrictions. (It didn't matter, I was in bed sick almost all the time anyways) I had a repeat ultrasound at 24 weeks to check it as well as a valve in my daughters heart and it had moved up and was no longer a concern. In most cases it will correct itself, and unless it is completely covering the cervix is usually not a concern. It's something like less than 5% will not by the end of pregnancy.
