Do you know if paternity leave starts (10 days) starts once your admitted to the hospital, baby is born or once your discharged from hospital??

Im 10 hours from home so its not far but not short either.

We are stationed in camp pendleton (San Diego, Ca).

I am 40 weeks on Friday and will be induced Monday. Right. It would be once your discharged from the hospital cause then you'd have the baby. And about him having to go back to work to put in paper work... I guess it just depends... Because I'm being induced his work already knows he won't be in and i think if his command is nice enough a phone call is enough for once I'm discharged.

How far along are you and where are you guys stationed at?

Myhusband told me once the baby is here since there could be false labor and they send you home. I guess he said after she is born the next day he has to go into work and put his package through for his leave (it'll already be done and just needs his leave dates). And after he submits it he is on leave after that for the 10 days.
