Are massage chairs safe during pregnancy? I'm 39 weeks and curious.

There's no induce labor points on the back.
But just to be on the safe side, don't get one.
Just by getting a massage will move blood flow to your lower body , possibly causing labor .

Do NOT use a massage chair. The chair doesn't know you are pregnant so it only has one or two settings which are used on non-pregnant people. It could hit a pressure point or nerve and really affect you or baby. Baby will be here soon, just wait, please

If the therapist isn't certified in prenatal, they shouldn't be doing it.
I wouldn't get one now since you're really close.

Im a massage therapist and the only type of massage u should get is a prenatal massage and tht can be somewhat dangerous if the therapists doesn't do it right

Don't believe mumbo jumbo, I sat on one at the mall for fives minutes. I'm pretty sure it's safe, I'm 38 weeks & 2 days. Lol sitting in a chair with virbations won't harm your baby? Hahaha someone is over reacting.

No they are not. I sat on one a few months ago and when I came home,  I had some strange pains. I began to fear I would miscarry. My advice to you is to keep away from them. God bless!

I got a massage on my second pregnancy and it was a Big No no . It really did something to my back to the point we're I could not move my husband had to call my physician and he explained to me why , massages or the chairs are not good for you.  Maybe u should just jump in to the jacuzzi and relax a little .

Massages are safe and good for you when prego. I have never heard of a massage chair hurting anyone lol. All it does is push and vibrate. I am a massage therapist and unless you have some high risk medical condition go for it.
