maybe baby?

well, i got af on the 26th, exactly a 31 day cycle. since af ended on the 28th, dh and i have bd 3 times. is there a chance that i could get pregnant from those three times?  if my calculations are correct i shouldnt ovulate until this weekend. i know that fertilization takes up to 2 weeks. we're not "trying" for a baby, but ive gotten comfortable with just seeing what happens and giving it one more shot. gosh, i feel like a broken record with that line! anyway, was just curious as to what you ladies thought!

be honest with me! i wont get my feelings hurt! is this a stupid move on my part since i just miscarried for the 5th time in feb?

well, my most fertile days start tomorrow, but we arnt "trying" so im not too worried about it. if it happens, then it happens. i just had my 5th miscarriage in feb so i think its the end of the road for me anyway.

im am going today to buy those omega 3 pills! even though we arnt ttc, i think that they would really help me out with my lupus. my doctor said that it would be fine for me to take.

If you haven't ovulated yet then your chances are low. They say the absolute longest a sperm can live is 5 days in the most optimal conditions, most only last 3 days. You would have to BD within those days for there to be a chance. Once you O, your egg is only good for about 24 hours. Your main fertile days (Five days before O and the day of O) in which sex can result in pregnancy. (the rates are very low if you do it more than 3 days before O) I think the time line you are talking about is how long it takes for your body to respond to conception. O happens, the egg is only good for about 24 hours. It takes several days for the egg to move through the tubes to the uterus where it will float around for a couple of days before implanting (if fertilized). Implantation happens anywhere from 6-10 days after ovulation. Tests can take up to 14 days or more, after O, to give a + result.

Ask the pharmacist but I think it should be ok since its literally fish oil that comes out of fish....But you should take it along with prenatal vitamins just so you can ensure that your body is receiving all the nutrients to support a healthy pregnancy.

My mom has Lupus too I know how hard it can be when your body betrays you but I honestly think that the Omega 3's would be good.  Of course, you don't notice the difference right away, but you will in a few weeks taking it.  I think that the Omega 3's helped me have a good pregnancy this time, I had a mc in june.  And that pregnancy was waaay different, then this pregnancy with the Omega 3 has been great so far.

It reduces inflamation in your body and it improves circulation amongst other things.  So by improving circulation and reducing inflamation it brings higher levels of oxigen in your uterus and it helps to prevent blood clots.
Its also good for nerves and skin.  I posted a journal on an article that I found.
It is recommended for Heart Disease patients, Diabetes and Lupus and for everybody.  And apparently taken in the 3rd trimester it helps in the baby's brain development.

If anything, it wont hurt at all :)

Nope its not a stupid move. I've heard of many women that have multiple miscarriages and end up having very successful pregnancies in the end.
Just take the prenatal vitamins all the time even when you are not pregnant to prepare your body and take Omega 3 fish oil caps everyday.  They are awesome for your body.

It would be great if you do get pregnant.  Its only natural.
