Even with an ultrasound I was told I was measuring 3 weeks small and when I delivered she was average size. With tape measurements it can be off because of a lot of factors and with ultrasounds they get less accurate the further along you are because they have a hard time measuring. I remember one of my ultrasounds I had 3 different doctors do it and each one guesstimated a different weight all ranging within a pound different. Which for a baby is a BIG difference.

thanks ladies, And yeah she said she could tell i had more fluids she looked at my 4D, but never really seemed worried till yesterday. But its noon and im still waiting on the call to come in, DANG SNOW.. Reading some other girls i notice that doctors tell ya some wrong things and it gets ya worried ya know. she didnt even tell me that it could be my shape or how he is laying or just nothing she had told me that my baby could be growing to fast, placenta problems or and that she can tell i have extra fluids.

When I was pregnant with my oldest Daughter I was measuring 5 weeks bigger. So I had a ultrasound and she was normal size just they thaught she was 8lbs something... They induced me at 37 weeks and didnt work. I had to go back a week later and then it worked. It also could be to much fluid around the baby. Or if you are bigger girl that can also confuse the doctors sometimes. I hope you get your answers tomorrow...

Don't worry yet until you have your ultrasound. Tape measurements are HIGHLY inaccurate and many doctors don't use them anymore. I was 33 weeks and measured to be 27 weeks. Ultrasound showed her at 32 weeks 6 days. The babies position, your own body and weight gain, how the doctor measures, etc can all affect this.
