minor pains that are moving

hello everyone,

well to get right to it, i am anywhere between 4-7 weeks pregnant (we won;t find out an exact amount til after an ultrasound on 1/31.  But for the past few days i have been having some minor pains.  at first i think they were associated with constipation but now that i have passed that, they are still there.  at first it was like a minor tingling pain in my lower right side above my pelvic bone but now today it moved to my left side in the same area.  these pains are not cripling or have my doubled over but i am worried because i had a MC is october.  do these pains sound normal or should i call the doctor?  i am just worried about every ache and pain now.

thanks
L

The best thing you can do is call your ob, tell them what is going on and what you should do from here. They will let you know to either come and see them very soon, or they will send you to the er.

For me it started at 10pm I tried to go to sleep around 11, and the pain was bothering me so much (because it was uncomfortable more than anything) that it wouldn't let me sleep. I told my doc this at 3 am. He said he wanted me to come in, around 8 the next morning, but called me back 30 min later and told me to go to the er instead, that he would be there. They gave me and my husband a room, hooked me up to some sugar water lol saying it was good for the baby while they drew some blood, and did an exam. After that they said my levels were good, and checked on the baby and told me it was viable. We got to see the heartbeating and hear it. They sent me home with an antibiotic because they thought it may be a bladder infection. the pain started going away 3 hours later, and was only there ever so often. It was pretty much just growing pain... discomfort of pregnancy.
I really don't think you have to much to worry about, but if it does become painful, where it is worrying you, or doesn't stop at all or any spotting defiantly go right to the er.

that is what it feels like, someone is poking me from the inside.  not painful but uncomfortable.  i am hoping that i have the same results as you.  i have been debating on going to the ER but i dont want to over react.

I know how you feel I had 3 mc, and got pregnant again in october. At 6 weeks I had the same kind of pain, but it was constant for 4 hours, on one side. Not overly painful but noticeable, like tapping from the inside. I called my ob in the middle of the night and he told me to go to the hospital. They checked my levels and they were at 28,000! They sent me to ultrasound, and bam there was baby with a nice heartbeat. They pretty much told me everything was fine, and it was all normal. I am now over 12 weeks pregnant almost 13.

Cramping that feels pre-menstrual is normal during early pregnancy. Your uterus is stretching and growing, your organs are shifting and moving, and the ligaments supporting the uterus and stretching to accomodate the growing uterus.

You're probably just fine!
