miscarriage

Im supposed to be 12 weeks pregnant and went in for my first ultrasound. The doctors couldn't detect a heart beat and said it looked a lot smaller than it should've (about 6-7 weeks old). They told me i probably miscarried but are taking me in for later testing to confirm it. Has any one had a situation like this before or can give me any advice?

you don't need to bleed unfortunately.
I went in for my 16wk checkup and they didn't find a heartbeat, sent me for an ultrasound and they confirmed the baby died about a week and a half before.
:( I had no symptoms or signs, no cramps or bleeding.
so sorry you're going through this :(
plus side, it only took me 4 mos to get pregnant again and im 14wks now. waiting to pass that stage again, :( I have a MW apt tomorrow and am dreading her not being able to find a heartbeat

I went in for my ultrasound at 12 weeks and the same thing happened. It was only 8 weeks and 2 days. I ended up having a surgery.. Its hard but you end up pushing through. I just found out I'm pregnant again! Its been 10 months since so keep your head up!
