I had a miscarriage three months ago, and my midwife told me that my body was able to get pregnant again before I started my next period. After going through my first pregnancy/miscarriage, my husband and I weren't too eager to try again right away. Unless there were other complications that happened, I don't see why you would have to wait a year. However they can make sure to have earlier ultrasounds to give you peace of mind. If you're ready to try again, you should!

I had a miscarriage August 2014 too, and a D&C September 3 last year. My dr told me to wait at least 6 months. I conceived in February this year and am expecting a boy in November. So far no complications. I always said when the time was right it would happen. I never listened to the time lines or things like that. When your body is ready you're ready.
