miscarriage/pregnant/period????

My husband & I are ttc. I had my last period on June, 15 & my cycle is 33 days. We had sex july 1-3 & i believe i ovulated on the 4th. I should have got my period on the 18th. My nipples hurt really bad & I've had this weird clear, white slimy discharge for about 2 days now. I also have been having slight cramping on the left side.. nothing like period cramping though. I took a hpt this afternoon that came back negative, but I downed a bottle of water before hand.. I heard that can dilute the hcg? Anyways on the 21st when i wiped i had a bit of pinkish red blood. That whole day when i would wipe it would be either dark red, brown or pink blood (not enough to fill even a panty liner). Now yesterday i had about a quarter size amount of redish brown blood on my panty liner. I then bled dark red blood with small dark clots for about 6 hours on and off then nothing mostly when i would wipe, but i did pee some blood and small clots out. This morning it was back to pink spotting when i wipe. And now it's the dark red blood only when i wipe. Sorry this is so long i'm just really confused as to what is going on. I had a miscarriage about 6 years ago at 9 weeks & that hurt like heck and bled terribly. I'm not bleeding anything near that & i only had cramping yesterday. UGH WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ME!?

Drinking water directly before you test will not effect the outcome of the results (you can not dilute urine that fast!).

Most HPTs detect pregnancy 2 weeks after conception which would be ~ July 18th in your case.  You might just be having an off- period however, as cassandrajane said you can take another test with first morning urine to check.

Cramping on the lower left side might be because of a cyst which are common in ovulating women.  If you get the same pain for several months in a row, please see your doctor.

Test again with FIRST MORNING URINE!

Because your last pregnancy ended in MC doesnt mean your next one will!!
