How was your experience? I had an emergency c section with my son and I have a scheduled c section on monday to have my little girl but I am getting terrified.

I had an emergency c section with my first, she was 11 days late so I wanted her out. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant with my second and I've booked in for a c section. I have heard from a lot of ppl that u recovery quicker, and just feel so much better within ur self. Good luck, I can't wait.

I also forgot to add I was put under with my first, so I was sooo nervous about how being awake would be.. it's such a cool feeling during the operation, no pain at all, I didn't have any pressure either.

That was my repeat c-section experience. My first was emergency, my 2nd was amazing. Emergency and repeats are completely different, way faster healing, way less pain, way easier! I know nothing I say is going to calm your anxiety, but you'll see! It's such an awesome experience. I loved it!

I'm so glad someone else asked this bc I'm freaking out about my csection. Last time was an emergency and I was so scared I couldn't stop shaking. Afraid the same thing will happen this time.

You said that you had a vaginal delivery before your csection and that the csections were an easier recovery, How was your recovery with the vaginal birth? I am trying to decide if I should try going VBAC or just go ahead and schedule a csection in June around my due date. I like the idea of having a set date to know when baby will be here I just worry about the recovery having a 2 year old also.

I had a csection with my son March 2011 and I am hoping to go VBAC this time so we will see how the pregnancy continues to progress and decide from there. I think it would be easier to have a scheduled csection, and from what I hear the recovery isn't too bad.

I will be having my 4th c section in 10 weeks..second scheduled one. It is a smooth process when it is scheduled. I think everyone gets a bit nervous but it should go fine. I had one vaginal delivery before my c sections and I had easier recovery from the c sections.  And I do think recovery has been easier with each one because you know what to expect.  Good luck!

i had one with my daughter and going for another one in 8 weeks. its fine you will be awake. and its not that bad a lil nerve racking but stay calm and wait for that precious babies cry. you will go in more than likely get fluids and etc until they take you back get the spinal block done and prep you in the OR for surgery and it's over almost as quick as it starts lol

I'm.a ftm and not due till June, so I've never experienced this, but wouldn't it be the same as the first time? Except its scheduled.  So it would probaby go smoother I would think.
