more spotting....should I go the ER?

Ok, so after i posted what I posted about being scared my pregnancy wont work out..I went to the bathroom and wiped and there was more of pinkish brownish discharge going on....i am very nervous now....if I went to the ER would they do anything for me? ultrasound or blood tests?? either way whatevers going on I just want to know....also I am a waitress and tomorrow I am supposed to be working an 8 hour shift working and carrying heavy trays.....if this is a possible m/c should I be doing that...please help ...

I would definitely go to the ER....they will take your blood and probably give you a Vaginal Exam to check your Cervix...they usually don't schedule an u/s unless something appears wrong..but they will definitely give you tests to check the baby.
Spotting can be normal in Pregnancy but it can also be a sign of Miscarriage so I would go in and check it out to be sure. Especially since you're going to be on your feet tomorrow, thats not good if you're spotting. Go get checked out, better be safe than sorry! Good Luck!

I had the same last week, im only had six week pregnant and was told by the doctor to stay off my feet and rest as much as poss, i was bleeding for a whole week (it was only there when i wiped) it stopped on monday i had a scan today and it showed the baby and heartbeat to be fine ! so it could just be spotting. how many weeks are you?
if your more than 6 weeks a scan will show you babies heartbeat.
if  i were you i would do to ER and just see what they say.

I think you should go to the ER just to be sure.. they will give you an ultrasound to see if the placenta is still in tact and they defienetly will give you a blood test.

well i just read what you wrote and i dont think you should be on your feet at all if you are bleeding. that happend to my sister and they just put her to bed rest but you do need to go to the er as soon as possible. it could be nothing but  you dont want to risk anything. its always a good thing to check. so if i were you i would call out of work and go straight to the er and tell them whats going on. and congrats on the baby :0)
