mucus plug and rant

I'm 34 weeks and this morning I lost my mucus plug, I've rang the hospital in a panic as I am so early and the stupid midwife couldn't even give me a damn answer! I've ended up calling a health Direct line and the midwife/nurse has told me it is indeed my mucus plug and to be cautious as Labour may start any day now between now and my due date! Is there anyone here that lost there mucus plug and has carried to full term? I'm really scared of having my baby boy at 34 week's :-(

I've been losing mine since 26 weeks, I'm 33 now and no signs of labor. It can grow back. I think the fact that you don't have any discharge is a good sign because it means nothing else is coming out.

Well it was roughly 2cms big, perhaps bigger? And I'm also a little worried about the fact o haven't had any discharge since, I'm one who has suffered a heavy amount throughout pregnancy and it's just stopped :/

Yes I started losing my mucus plug around 34wks as well and I delivered a day before my due date. My doc told me u lose it and it grows back. It can take weeks after losing your plug. No worries just watch for labour signs
