mucus plug?

I'm 38 weeks today and when I've gone to the bathroom all day today I noticed big clear discharge coming out from down there. Could it be my mucus plug? It doesn't have any blood.

Went to my appointment today dr said it was my mucus plug if it was sticky and thick, they're not always bloody. So it was my mucus plug. :) I'm 2 cm dilated, he's said he thinks I have another week to go. :) I'm so excited! :)

Mucas plugs are usually brown or bloody, not clear x

I don't know. I'll ask today when I go in to my appointment. I think you've started to dilate once its comes out. With my second I was dilated to 4 cm when it came out, I went into labor that same day it came out. It was brown and bloody. But this time I just had a big glump of clear discharge come out. Don't know if its a mucus plug or not.?

I dnt think it really means yur startin to dilate cuz I'm already dilated nd haven't lost mine.. or even parts of mine that I no of...

I lost part of mine last night but it was a brown color. Do you know if that means you are starting to dilate or thin out?

Yea white is if there's no smell nd stuff... Nd my next appt Wednesday too haha

I'll ask Wednesday when I go to my drs appointment. Thought it would be my mucus plug. Lol. I think white discharge is normal though.

Idk either.. could Juss be more discharge.. wend yur next appt? Yu should ask.. my Dr says its normal.. idk bout clear tho I didn't ask that...

I've been havin a lil more whiteish discharge wen I wipe sometimes too.. but I'm 36+2...
