mucus

hi everybody, im 32 week's pregnant with my first baby :-) today i went to the loo and as i wipped myself noticed a small pea shaped green ball on the paper. does anyboby have any suggestion's as to what this may be????

the mucus plug is never a pleasant sight but a very normal part of the end of pregnancy, good luck!!

cool thankyou for your comment's its not been much maybe just once a day for about 3 day's and not a big ammount just green and not very nice.

It's probably part of your mucus plug.  Some women start losing pieces of it very early, others never see it come out.  The thing about the mucus plug is that it can regenerate itself so as you lose some, it grows back.  At this point since it was such a small amount I would say it's nothing to worry about, however if you start experiencing more mucus like discharge, if it becomes red, pink or brown tinged or if you start having contractions, call your ob.

This is probably just a little bit of your mucus plug! As gross as it is, we lose it and it regenerates itself. Usually nothing to worry about especially if it is a just a small amount and doesn't contain any blood or anything. Congrats on your pregnancy!
