A tubal ligation is getting your tubes burnt, tied, and/or clamped. It's a method of permanent sterilization and the effectiveness varies, but I have known very few women to get pregnant naturally and carry to term after a ligation. I've heard of two or three women, so like I said...rare!

A tubal pregnancy is called an ectopic pregnancy. The embryo attaches itself to something other than the uterine lining, most often the fallopian tube. Its life threatening and the pregnancy must be terminated. In some instances removal of the tube is necessary. an ectopic has no bearing on whether you can achieve pregnancy again unless you lose your tubes.

By definition a tubal pregnancy is still a pregnancy. It's just not a viable one and has to be removed--

You have to speak to your doctor and find a good person who can do a reversal. Whether it can be done or not depends on the quality of your tubes, damage, the ligation you had done, etc etc. Bear in mind this does NOT have a 100% success rate and can be costly-- this is also something you have to pay out of pocket as few insurance companies cover the cost.
