need help asap!!

ok so I was down the hospital yday and turns out I have a kidney infection. They gave me tablets but turns out I'm allergic to them. Iv stopped taking them and phoned the doctor but he to busy and can't see me. Please tell me that because I'm allergic it won't harm my baby will it. I'm 24w 1d

ok thank you. I have new pills nos and they made me have a full body rash that was really itchy and made me feel really sick.

I dont think your allergies affect your baby but I am not sure... How does your body react to the pill.. like what were the symptoms of your reaction.....    I think the only way it would effect the baby is if for example you experience your throat closing or anaphylactic shock...  because if you have restricted oxygen then so does your baby...

Its like when you have a cold or flu, your symptoms dont generally effect your baby but perhaps there is a nursing line or somewhere you can  call to make sure.....

It might be important to go back to the hospital and see what else they may prescribe to you...  I bring this up only because infections of any kind need to be taken care of ASAP and do put you at risk for PTL...  I know it takes at least 48 hours of antibotics to effect an infection
