that's funny!!!  my dh isn't here right now (out of town for work) but if he saw me doing the kitchen floor earlier he probably would've had a heart attack!!!

my spurt of energy is gone now though...  now i need to start getting dinner ready for the kids!

a mother's work is never done!!!  :)

Ha ha Kennedy its perfectly normal. My husband found me scrubbing away the other day, and told me to relax. He is now threatening to take my mops and buckets away.

i'm pretty sure most cleaning products are ok to use just make sure you wash your hands really good afterwards or maybe wear gloves while cleaning and make sure the area you're cleaning is well ventilated (like don't clean the oven)...  i think even bleach is still ok to use but it may make you a little nauseaous smelling it!

i guess the difference for me is that w/ our other dd's we didn't have our "own" house.  we lived w/ parents while i was pregnant w/ our 1st 2 and when i was pregnant w/ our last one we shared a house w/ dh's brother and wife (who was also pregnant) and we argued over who wasn't doing enough around the house...  this time we are in our "own" house w/ our "own" family here and i can tell you its totally different!!!  the kitchen is only the start...  i'm heading to the bathrooms next i don't want to waste this sparked energy!!!  i mean i always "pick up" behind the toddlers and after dh but this time its really cleaning...  dh is going to laugh at me!!!  lol

Ha ha ha!!! Welcome to motherhood. One of the first things we do as mommies is CLEAN, CLEAN, and CLEAN! We want everything to be perfect for baby's arrival. I've heard of women scrubbing their baseboards with a toothbrush (now if that is something that all of a sudden sparks your interest, I'm going to laugh!).

I have to be honest and say that I started nesting before I even knew I was pregnant. It is a chemical reaction in our brains, not just a feeling. We have this desire to "nest" and build something clean and comfortable for baby. So I was a cleaning freak and then I took a test and went, "Holy cow! It all makes sense now!"

If you're nuts, we're all nuts. Congrats on the baby!
