new birth control

So, I am 21 and pregnant with my first child. I think I'm some where between 8-10 weeks(find out for sure tomorrow).
I was taking the lo lestrogen pill for birth control, had a feeling something wasn't right....intense cramping, weird spotting, sore breasts,an obvious change in the way I was dreaming, etc.
A friend suggested I take a pregnancy test and much to my surprise, it came out positive! To get to the real question, which birth control should I switch to after my baby is born? Obviously the pill isn't for me. I'm to scared for an IUD or whatever it is and I just read something about 20+ women's deaths as direct result to taking yaz or yazmin. I've always heard bad things about the shot...so I'm totally lost about which direction to take

I am getting put back on implanon. Well its called nexplanon now but its a little stick that is put in your arm. Its good for three years and you can breastfeed while using it :)

I am wondering the same thing. I was on yaz once but the hormones made me go crazy so I was put on a low dose birth control and got preggers. I am left wondering the same thing. I am thinking a diaphram might be the best bet for me after baby.

Honestly, I'd rather it be in my arm than my uterus. Though im curious about how it would work. Congrats to the scientists that figured this one out

I'm with you there! They all seem scary so I'm going to talk to my doctor about implanon. Ours an implant that goes into your arm and works for 3 years, but I've heard mixed reviews about it as well.
