With my first Medicaid was stupid and kept saying I never provided them valid proff of pregnancy so I didn't have insurance. It took me until I was 13 weeks to see a doctor and only reason I even got to see a doctor is that the hospital had finacile assistance and there was a doctor that woul take it. I didn't get my insurance approved until the day after my daughter was born. I moves states not even a month after I had my second and I had to fight with the DHS office to get them to speed up the process for my medicaid. Try bothering them a lot and keep telling them you are pregnant and really need to see a doctor and maybe they'll stop being idiots. Also look to see if their is any finacile asistence or a doctor that is willin to see you until the insurance gets totally settled

If you get a doctor the Medicaid should back track to when you moved there. Because you can get a doctor while your still in the application process and when you get accepted it back tracks like 2-3 months or whenever you got pregnant...so i would think it'd kinda work the same if you move states...I'm not sure could always call and ask!

As long as you are taking care of yourself you and the baby will be fine until you can get in. Women through out history didn't go to the doctor when they were pregnant so waiting til Oct wont be a big deal. Hope things get sorted out.
