Oh and they should do a vaginal ultrasound to confirm how far along you are, if you happen to only be 4 weeks or so you not going to hear a heart beat!!!

You would have miscarried by now if it was one. I didnt hear a heartbeat until about 7-8 weeks. If the doc cant tell you whether or not the baby is ok id go to another doctor. They should have done the ultrasound and checked your levels etc.. It sounds to me like your just fine if there hasnt been any signs of miscarriage then Id assume you were still preggers!

Yeah, I agree with everyone else.  I have heard of it taking up to 8 weeks to see a heartbeat.  And sometimes your dates are off.  Just a couple to a few days can make a HUGE difference; especially in early pregnancy.

Dont count it as a misscarriage yet.....wait a few weeks like just me said and then have a transvaginal u/s to determine for sure.

I couldn't get a heartbeat until I was 7 weeks.  Request another u/s in a weeks.

Ok i was told by the hospital that you could hear the heartbeat at 6 weeks but others have said that it is far too early so im not sure to be honest. So they say that you have M/C, but have you havent had any symptons like cramping, clots, bleeding etc. Well if i was you i would just hang in there and wait a few weeks as they have said that it measures 5-6 weeks i would wait and see if it grows and go back in two weeks and request another scan. Have you felt like your pregnancy symptons have gone a bit or are they about the same
