no morning sickness?

So I am 5 weeks and 3 days, and I don't have any morning sickness. I have read before actually the more morning sickness you have the better your chances of not miscarrying. Has anyone heard this? Can there be something wrong? I do get a little naseous but thats about it. I have other normal symptoms but I still worry Thanks

My morning sickness started at about 6 weeks, then at 8 weeks it hit full on. To this day, 21weeks I still have it! give it time and if you don't get it count yourself as blessed.

I am 15 weeks with baby #2 and I have never had any nausea whatsoever or even with my last pregnancy.  Count it as a blessing!!!

My OB-GYN told me that women don't usually get morning sickness until around 6 weeks due to the rise and amount of hcg/hormones from pregnancy.  Some women never get morning sickness during pregnancy.  I don't think the amount of morning sickness you have has anything to do with miscarriage.  I don't think women would have morning sickness if they have an early miscarriage because hormone levels wouldn't be high enough to cause nausea.

Consider yourself lucky! I worried SOO much that I wasn't sick in the beginning; then at 6 weeks I got slammed with "morning" sickness that lasted all day and night. I was eventually diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum (severe nausea/vomiting) and was hositalized several times, and ended up losing 15 pounds. The good news is, we are expecting a very healthy baby boy and I am feeling much better now at 20 weeks.... some more good news, my condition is very rare and your chances of having it are slim. You will probably develop normal morning sickness within the next couple weeks, so in the meantime EAT UP!! Enjoy the quiet before the storm. ;) My wish for you is that you're one of the few who have no morning sickness and go on to have a healthy pregnancy!! Best wishes. :)

I too don't start getting sick until I am 6-7 weeks.  But when it comes, boy does it come!!!  But as many others have said, there are the lucky ones that don't get sick at all and go on to have very healthy pregnancies.

When I was pregnant with my son I was told that I was going to have a miscarraige at 5 weeks.  I started getting sick (horribly sick!!!) at 6 weeks and I was told that is a great sign that the pregnancy is going to be fine.  He is two now and I ended up losing 11 pounds with him.  I got sick this time closer to 7 weeks and lost 9 pounds.  I am now 24 weeks and just within the last month stopped throwing up. So..

I would say from what I have been told that being sick is a sign that you are pregnant and less likely to miscarraige, but like others have said - not everyone gets sick.  You may just be one of the lucky ones to NOT get sick.  OR you may not be to that point yet.  Have you had an ultrasound to see a heartbeat yet?  Once you have that then your risk of miscarraige goes down drastically too.  Good luck!

some people are just LUCKY and dont get it. i didnt have morning sickness with my first and i dont have any now and i am 6 months along. now just cause you dont have it now doesnt mean you wont get it..ive had a few days here and there. but no having morning sickness doesnt lesser your chances, and doesnt mean you will have a healthier pregnancy. its just a symptom, like breast tenderness of any other

My morning sickness didn't start until 6-7 weeks.  I was worried about it too.  But believe me, when it started, it came full force.  Also, some lucky women don't get morning sickness at all.  So I wouldn't worry, I'm sure everything's fine!  :)

I have heard that the more morning sickness you have the stronger the baby is ( but it could just be a old wives tale).
