nothing is wrong with being a teen mom

Im 16 and pregnant i know i should have waited a bit longer but it happenes. I went into shell the other day and the lady was giving me the third degree she asked if i was married how old i was and she was giving me the worst faces when i have her the answers no im not married but i am still with the father. Just because i got pregnant doesnt mean i have to marry him. People at my church too they give me some faces i stop going all together because they act as if there holy when there not. My baby is being taken care of im graduating in may and being a CNA in july done being mad just had to let it out

Im 17 and tomorrow i'll be 30weeks (: & I can really care less what other people have to say about me having a baby young they're not supporting me or my son who's on the way then there comments don't matter . But I do hate it when people automatically think just because you're a teen mom you're going to be a bad mom , the word MOTHER has NO age limit (:

I'm a teen mommy & wife!! Met my husband at 14, got pregnant at 16!:) our son will be 2 when our next son is born in august! Same due date as with our first! We got married last December and I'll be 19 with 2 kids and a husband! Just moved into our first house about 2 weeks ago!

Nothing wrong with being a teen mom! You just have to prove to yourself and everyone else that you will be one of the good teen moms instead of the partying kind that leaves their kid with anyone who will keep it!

I've never left my son with anyone for more than an hour and he is 20 months old!

By the way I'm 18 and my husband is 21! We are very mature and great parents! It's just gotta be your #1 priority for parenting to be done right!

I'm not a teen mum I am 24 but I still get the looks and whispers when I am out with my 3yr old and they notice my bump. The other day I took my 1yr old nice to pick my daughter up from nursery we went to the shop and 2 old ladies were staring and whispering my daughter noticed it as well I just turned and told them to stop being so judgemental and assuming things as you don't know my life or my story so keep your comments to yourself but they still did it so to wind them up I was like there is another child at home with his grandad who is also mine. (He is my nephew)

Im 24 and have ben mairred almost 4 years. And people still think in 16. I get the looks and comments. And I just simply tell them im 24 and mairred. You should see the look on there face when they realize.  There judgment was wrongly. Im 38 weeks pregnant.  People think my younger sisteris older than me. I was in the docters office and yhe docter asked if my husband was my father. I laughed and said im 9 months older. The Docters face went pail. Lol. And he aapologized.  I laugh at it later. But when it happens.  Its not so funny

You know what, in this world you can't be worrying about the people around you. You do you, and be the best mom you can be. Yeah you're young ...so what, having a baby is hard at any age. So don't worry, and for all the people at your church to stare and judge you, so what. Only God will be your judge, so their opinions don't matter. You seem very responsible, already almost done with school and everything. So you go girl!! If they're not proud of you, well i sure am!

I think people react that way because they know how hard it is being an adult and having a child, let alone being much much younger. It's hard at any stage in life. But being younger, you are just getting to know yourself, who you want to be, where you want to go in life. It's a huge juggle. But there's no looking back now. It may be easy to think having a baby is rainbows and sunshine, but it will be one of the hardest things you will ever do in life. And the most rewarding. If you took on the responsibility of getting pregnant so young, then you have to accept people's negative judgments. Raise your head high and say yes I'm graduating, yes the baby is well provided for, yes I will try my best to be a good mother, and yes I am strong. Rise above the insults, looks and whispers and shine on. Because thatthat's the best for you and baby.

I don't know if I count... I was nineteen when I had my daughter. I had been married for over a year. I think the comments about the wedding were the worst though. I got married a month after I graduated high school to the love of my life. I was raised by a super conservative family that does not believe in sex before marriage and especially not cohabitation outside of marriage!
I kept the secret of being sexually active until after the wedding, but we were planning to get married anyway, we just pushed the date up because I really wanted to live with him and my family just wouldn't approve. Everyone assumed the only reason we would get married so young was because I was knocked up, when in reality I didn't get pregnant for eight months after our wedding. People freaking su.ck.

Its because you're so young, you're not suppose to be a mother yet that's why people look at you like OMG.
