periods after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage december 3rd, I was only about 4 weeks along and the bleeding lasted about 6 days, like a normal period.  I then got my next period exactly a month later on Jan. 3rd. After this period, I tried getting pregnant again. I started to spot around Feb. 1st, at first I was thinking I was getting my period (which was weird, because it never comes early), I spotted off and on for 2 days but it was very light, was not like a period at all. My period has not yet came, and is over a week late now, and I have taken several pregnancy tests and they all show up negative.
Could of this been my period or is my period maybe yet to come (normal to be over a week late though?) or is it possible all these tests are wrong?

I dont know how much help this will be but here goes... i mc  dec 26th naturaly and have yet to have an a/f took a preg test last night and its negative.  when i called my doc today to ask if everythings ok he said it can take up to 6 weeks to get an af after mc and the first few cycles can be irregular as your bodys recvoering. So it may be nothing to worry about, your body may just be off a little still due to the mc.  Or with my first preg  i tested 5 days after my missed af and got neg then i think it was 2/3 days later got 2 positives, it may be that your hcg isnt high enought yet for the test to catch it.  Best of luck!!!
