physical therapy

I am 37+2 and been having the most excruciating back pain and pelvic pain that I have ever felt. It's literally crippling me. I thought that I was having back labor so finally after 3 days I went to the hosp to get checked out. There were only a cpl contractions registering and I am still only 1cm dltd since last wk, but gully thinned. My Dr said that everything looks absolutely perfect and baby is very active and healthy and it's just his size and position. He gave me a prescription for physical therapy and said that they have a great prenatal therapy with a whirlpool. Has anyone ever done therapy for pain during pregnancy?

I can't wait to try it!  I'm still waiting for my first apt and hope it's in the next day or 2. The thought of a whirlpool tub is like heaven, considering I don't even have a bathtub at my house and showers dont do the trick!

That sounds amazing! This back and hip pain is definitely no joke! I'd say you got lucky and I would definitely go! Who knows maybe it will help your body build strength for delivery and then you will feel AMMMAAAZZING!!!
