please tell me that this isn't the start of a miscarriage!

OMG!  I just went to the bathroom and there was a spot of blood on my underwear.  I got some slight pain but I really don't know if it's gas or cramps.  I'm 12 weeks and 4 days, could this be the start a miscarriage?  What should I do?!  I'm freaking out!  I've never had any spotting before!

Good idea.  I'd try to rest and stay off your feet until your appt. just to be on the safe side.  Keep us posted.

Not positive what color the blood is.  It's on my underwear which are pink, so I can't really tell.  But I called my Dr. and they want me in today at 4:30.  If I didn't have the sudden pain I wouldn't freak out as much.  I'm just going to try to calm myself down until the dr. appt.

it could be any number of things.  When you bleed during pregnancy they say 50/50.  You are over the 12 week mark so thats a positive.  You do need to call your doc right away though.  I had a miscarriage with no bleeding at all so everyone is different.

a spot of blood or a clot? if its just a spot i wouldnt worry that much just call your dr and explain or just go straight to the ER

stop freaking out! Calm your nerves. stressed mommy= stressed baby. Now describe the spot! Is it red, brown, pink? Any discharge? Have you had intercourse lately? A vag ultrasound? Best thing to do is take it easy. If it gets worse at all contact your doctor. Heck, if youre really freaking call them now. Youre most likely fine..just calm it down. You can worry when youre bleeding bright red, heavier then a period and having the most horrible cramps of your life. Good luck hun

I'd call your doc NOW!!  Sometimes spotting can be normal but unfortunately it's hard ot know what is normal and what isn't.  Sometimes during pregnancy, sex can cause bleeding/spotting.  That happened to me with my 4th and I freaked out because I had never bled a drop while pregnant; not even implantation bleeding.  But when this happened to me, I was much further along.  I was like 33 or 34 weeks at the time.

I would call your doc right away! for me, spotting is never a good sign, but everyone is different. They should get you in right away. If not, you could always go to the ER and they will give you an u/s and do blood work. I hope everything is okay!!
