pms after tubal

i have a question and im not sure if this is where to ask it but here goes... i had my tubes tied almost 3 years ago and i was wondering.. i have severe almost debilitating pms. is there any reason to have a menstrual cycle if children aren't possible anymore? i need help. i have a six year old and twin daughters that are almost 3 and when its 'that time', i get very irritated with them. its hard to take care of myself and relax when im always running somewhere. is there anything i can do to at least lessen the pain and bleeding. i i bleed so bad that i have to change every hour and halff the time i have to change clothes altogether... i need help!!! thanks

my doctor wanted to scrape the uterus to lessen all the bleeding but i wasn't sure how that would be... isn't that basically a d&c? i'd rather be on the shot but im not sure how i want to do it. im not very good at taking pills.. (i forget my synthroid most of the time) which makes the periods worse.. we just moved to a new area and im waiting on the military to set up my doctor... but hopefully we can get set up soon because this ***** lol

Hello,  I had my tubes tied for 12 years and experienced the same thing. Even though your tubes are tied you still have your normal cycles. You just can't get pregnant.  I ended up goign on birth controlpills to lessen the bleeding and PMS symptoms.  My insurance covered 100% because the pill was not being used for birth control. I suggest you talk to your Dr. about it.
