positive test with spotting.....

A week ago I was having all of the symptoms of pregnancy. The tender and growth of my breasts, felling extra tired, nauseous, the whole nine yards.  I took a at-home pregnancy test and it showed a faint positive line. The next day I took another one and the line was darker.  Two days later I started to spot and continued to spot for three days and had very mild cramping. The bleeding stopped yesturday do I went to my doctor. Her test came back negative. This morning I took another home test and it also came back negative. Could my bleeding have been a miscarriage?

Me and my fiancee both are 18 and freaked out that we have lost our firstborn. Any advice or similar stories would be extremely comforting.

Hey everyone. Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately I had an early miscarriage.  In a few months hopefully we will plan to have a baby instead of a surprise pregnancy. Sending love to all who thought of us!

was you late when you took the test. or was you testing early? my midwife once told me that very often women will miscarry and quite often never know as they miscarry before they even notice they are late. bleeding at this stage would be no different to a period so it is very much a possibly im afraid

It sounds like a chemical pregnancy or an early miscarriage, yes. I would definitely ask for a blood test, and ultrasound to make sure it was all cleared out, if that were the case. Good luck hun!

It could be possible tht u had chemical pregnancy but i m still wondering usually miscarriage has heavy period like bleeding... However it could be possible u were too early... U should ask doctor to perform a blood test... Only hcg levels can show what 2xactly is happening... Best of luck n keep us posted...
