postive pregnancy test, then a negative am i pregnant?

First of all sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place.

I recieved a faint postive pregnancy result yesterday afternoon, using a 25ml senstivty test. I took the test in the afternoon. The line came up within the time limit, however this morning i took a clearblue dig and anothor store home brand ( both 25ml senstivty level) and i got a negative result. Im confused am i pregnant, was the faint postive wrong? I am around 7 days late . After getting the negatives this morning i still havenet recieved my period, i have had signs of poss pregnancy such as sore breasts. please help. thanks

Please take a Quantitative blood test to find out the amount of Beta HCG level. Don't trust the negative. There are cases where you get many negatives after missed period but eventhough pregnant. So consult the Doctor and take a blood test. I hope you are pregnant. I pray for you

It is VERY rare to recieve false positives. VERY! Unless its an Evap line...
Next time you take a test use First Morning Urine. As it is more concerntrate.

If they come out neg, I suggest you see your doc and ask for a HCG count :)

you never get a possitive test if your not pregnant so you must be. id say 98% change of been pregnant. hope this helps

Im not sure what type of test you got the positive on but blue dye tests are known for giving false positives. The best thing to do is get a pink dye test and take it first thing in the morning. Or you could try asking your doctor for a blood test since that would give you a for sure answer. As far as missing periods or late periods there are a million reasons why it happens and pregnancy is only one cause. Another big one is stress.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I took a test and it was positive. I have taken a few more test (2 which were digital clear blue) and they were negative..My periods have been out of whack for a few months now (skipping one every other month). No sore breast for me, just being tired and a kind of tightness in my stomach, and been using the bathroom (both ways) alot lately. I also have been having heartburn from hell for a few weeks. I'm not sure what tests to trust so I think I might try and get a doc appointment to get a blood test done, just to be sure. Good luck and I hope you get the answer you want!
