Awww i wouldnt wish miscarriage on my worse enemy, its a horrible experience!

Are you classed as high risk? what i mean by that is have you had any miscarriages or ectopics in the past or any gynae probs?

Some people do experience spotting my sister in law had it with my nephew all the way through they thought they was miscarrying about 5 or 6 times and she had a healthy baby boy in the end, unfortunatly my spotting ended in miscarriage when i went to the Early pregnancy unit i was very suprised how common miscarriage is!

Aww i hope your HCG continues to rise. Good luck.

Thanks guys, I' ve done a second HCG test today..waiting for my results. but still having light bleeding (not enough to fill a pantyliner), no major cramps just a backache. I would like to mention that when they did a vaginal u/s the doctor also found a fibroid which she said that's nothing to worry abt but she said that since i was bleeding it could be a pending m/c..:(..its been more than 2 days now no major bleeding.

The 'normal' Hcg level is a very wide spectrum its something like 19- 7340 what is more important in early pregnancy is that its doubleing every 48-72 hrs.
Its also normal for women to experience dark blood or brown discharge as long as it isnt bright red its old blood.
When i went for my scan at 5 weeks the sonographer said dont be suprised if they didnt see anything as it can take upto about 9 weeks sometimes longer it depends on the lady.

I hope this helps.

Good luck & i hope u have a h&h 9 months
