pregnancy test positive but ultra sound shows a pregnancy sac but its empty?? help

hi i have just got bk from a internal u/s after doing a home pregnancy test 2 days ago. i was wat i wrkd out 2 b 3 weeks l8 altho my cycles wernt regular and experienced brownish discharge upon wiping. i went 4 my scan and they have said theres a sac but its empty and im slightly worried i may have miscarried as they didnt tell me nething about the size of my sac as a few of u have said that they use that 2 determine how far u r etc. can ne1 help me out cos im rly worried and i have 2 wait till nxt monday the 14/11 for my nxt scan

i have been loosing clots ova the past few days so am pretty certain we have lost the baby

The show I didn't know I was pregant, they pretty all have bleeding all 9 mos so they think it's a period.it can happen.

so it wasnt that u were loosing the baby then? im so worried my friend told me her sis bleed all thro her pregnancy wiv red blood but im not 2 sure :(

I had bleeding with a pregnancy and they found a blood clot. It was just bleeding out. Ask your doctor if you had a hemotoma.

I found out at the beginning of this pregnancy that they can not date a sac, they can only date what if anything is seen IN the sac. It's really early to tell, the bleeding isn't good and it may not be bad, you just have to wait and see. I know easier said then done. Good Luck!

The stress and the bleeding isn't helping no but try to stay positive, your little one might still surprise you. Stacey's right; it could easily be a bleed from your cervix. Let us know how your checkup goes. Good luck!

i have kinda set myself 4 the worst as i am bleeding red blood n its not clotty but its still not gr8. also had bad news last night about my grandad so i think with the stress etc i have lost the baby neways. were pretty sure we've lost it but wud b ova the moon shud my nxt u/s say ovawise but not holding out much hope :( xxx thank u tho ladies xx x

try not to stress (hard I know) at 5 weeks your baby is the size of a grain of rice and is very hard to see if at all, keep an eye on your bleeding, if it has turned brown already then thats a good sign as its old blood, if they did a vaginal ultrasound this could have caused the bleed as your cervix is now swollen and the blood vessels are close to the surface and it is extremely easy for one of theses to po and cause the bleeding

since my internal u/s i have bled red blood but no clots now gone bk 2 brown discharge have been in tears al night as am extremly worried im miscarriging. rang the hosp they said they dnt need 2 c me unless i got clots n am rly heavy. wat wud u all do cos im soscared. xxxx

i went for a scan at 5 weeks only showed sac, went back 2 weeks later and their my little bean was with heartbeat, im 7 weeks now, its fine:) x

wud they have told me tho how far gone i was from the size of my sac as they neva mentiond it they said its either 2 early or ive lost it am rly confused.
