Pregnancy can be difficult or easy. It all depends on the woman. Child raising, on the other hand is very hard, but VERY worth it. You will have good days and bad days and you'll be tired, cranky, worn out, and sometimes want to pull your hair out. :) It is also the most rewarding, wonderful, thing a person can do.

Only you can know if you are ready or not and gillianl asked some great questions. If you are not ready, that is fine, you are still young and don't let him pressure you into something you are not quite ready for. On another note, though, everyone has doubts at some point as to whether they are ready or not and if they will be a good parent or not. Those doubts are normal and will make you a better parent.

i started ttc at the age of 22 and i'm still trying for my first child i'm now almost 25 years old.  My sister has 3 at the age of 22.  I think the only person who can say you are ready for a child is you.  Are you living together? I feel a child is a blessing that everyone should experience in their lives.  Do you both have jobs?  It is a lot of work and it is stressful but if your ready to conceive you'll be ready for anything.  I wish you the best of luck in your decision just remeber a baby is for life you both need to be sure you will be together for the rest of your lives and that you are strong enough to cope with a child together.  Again loads of luck!!!
