pregnant after miscarriage??? confused

I had a miscarriage on 12-12. I need to know when I should get my period or take a pregnancy test. I went to the doctor last week and took a pregnancy test to confirm my level was at 0 and it was neg. So she gave me a presricption for b/c but was told to take it when I start my period. I have had unprotected sex with my husband so now I need to know when to expect my period or when to take a test

You can get pregnant as early as two weeks after a miscarriage. I had a miscarriage on Oct 16th and tested positive on a hpt on Nov 11th. From sono it looks like I concived on Oct 30th. I'm now 11w2d. Good luck!

It may take a month after your miscarriage to get your period. Some women take longer. It only took me a month and me and my husband had unprotected sex. No BC either. It took us 6 months after my period to her pregnant. But every woman is different. You can get pregnant right after a miscarriage and you don't have to have your period. I hope this helps.
