im not pregnant but my hubby and i have decided to start trying so i went out to buy some prenatal vitamins but one lil problem i cant swallow pills so i got prenatal gummy vitamins.

do you think ill still get all my vitamins if its not a pill?
i compare the back label with the pills and its the same thing but im just a lil worrie that it wont take any effect.
is it ok to take these? i just want to know that it has the same effects as the prenatal  vitamins pill.

has anyone taken these? any advise???

Gummy vitamins are fine!  Many pregnant women take them because they are less likely to set off the gag reflux and are a little easier on the tummy.

I would also recommend taking a DHA supplement if it is not in the pills you are taking.

They should be the same. I had problems at the beginning of my pregnancy with keeping the prenatal pills down so my doctor told me to take 2 regular flintstone vitamins a day or 1 flintstone complete vitamin. I'm 20 weeks and so far my baby appears to be pretty healthy! :)

I've changed prenatals so many times I can't even count. I have some from my doctor, some OTC, gummy's and Flintstone vitamins. My midwife told me that I could take the chewable Flintstone ones once a day and it would be more or less the same as the other prenatals. (My problem is the other ones wouldn't stay down. They upset my belly too much)
