prescriped antibotics

A week ago I was diagnosed with gastritis and having an infection which I was told could lead to an ulcer.  I was prescribed Tetracycline and Metronidazole which I took for a week not knowing that I was pregnant and therefore my question is how will this infection affect my pregnancy and will the medication taken for that week have any effect on the baby.  This will be my second pregnancy the first time I miscarried at approximately 6 weeks which happened two and half months ago.  I don't know exactly how many weeks I am now but I do know my last menstraul cycle was on 10/10.  Should I be concerned?

Please let your OB aware ASAP. Tetracycline is in the FDA pregnancy category D. This means that it is known to be harmful to an unborn baby. Tetracycline may affect bone and tooth development in the developing baby.

Metronidazole is in the FDA pregnancy category B. This means that it is not likely to harm an unborn baby but you need to let your OB know that you took it.

Good luck to you!
