preterm labor
my sister went in to preterm labor last week and they were able to stop it but i was wondering how likely it is that she will still deliver soon
It's preterm but at this stage the baby should be in a safe zone, meanings weighing enough, and should have no problems breathing on its own. Had it bit maybe 10 weeks or so sooner it would have been dangerous. I've delivered two 25 weekers at only 1lb 9.9oz and the other almost two.
she is 34 weeks the doctors have told her that if it starts again they will not stop it. I don't think they put her on bed rest but they have told her to take it easy.
My friend went into preterm labor at 27w but she managed to make it full term so good luck to ur sister!
I went into preterm labor at 27weeks and I am 41 weeks today so it really depends on when the baby wants to come! Good luck to your sister on the rest of her pregnancy!
