I used Olay 24 hour moisture lotion with my first and didn't get one at all, I'm using it with this one too, I have only gotten a couple on my sides and I'm 32 weeks, I LOVE this lotion though. I use it everywhere except my face.

They do fade alot. After my daughter was born they were bright purple and huge. Before falling pregnant with baby number 2 they were very light and not noticable from a distance. And I had alot of them..

I used Palmers and don't have a single stretch mark after my first baby, my mom gave a birth 4 times and she has some  brownish stretch marks, I am just hoping to avoid them this time too.

Most of the time you'll either get it or you wont. Bio oil does help reduce them I think, and massaging it into your skin in a circular motion. My mum had none and I had loads. But don't be ashamed of them. Think of them as "mummy marks". I know they're not attractive, but the end result is so worth it :) xx

Olive oil is said to work wonders. Might ruin a few night gowns/shirts but its worth it

You can't prevent them...did your mom have them?? Because they are genetic.....but I've been using palmers lotion and some oil from Avon and so far I haven't gotten any I'm 30+2...but bio oil helps also... Some moms use that...just try to drink as much water as possible and keep your skin well lots of lotion or oil..also don't scratch lol...easier said than done.
