professional massages

I'm not getting much sleep due to back and shoulder pain. I work a full time job, waking up at 3:30 in the morning, and I'm so exhausted. :( Is it common to treat yourself to a professional massage? My boyfriend's hand get sore after a while and I have to hear him whine. Hehehe :) I just keep imagining those massages where they have you lay on your stomach, but being pregnant, we obviously can't do that. Any ideas?

Yeah! I used to work reception at a massage place! A lot of women came in for prenatal massage! Just make sure you ask and tell the place your pregnant, there's certain guidelines the massage therapists have to follow... And also ask if they have special tables or if they have you just lay on your side, because laying on your side for an hour can be quite uncomfortable!

There are places that do maternity massages they have a special massage chair that you sit in you lean forward and they can massage your back you wont have to lay on your stomach.

My norm is usually a couple glasses of wine or Marijuana to help me sleep, but I've been abstaining my whole pregnancy. I just need sleep. Haha Thanks. I'll look around my area for a spa that can help me!
