I went through a phase in my pregnancy where I wouldn't eat meat becasue it was always fried and greesy and it just upset my tummy to no end. I ate a lot of peanut butter on wheat bread to make up for the lack of protein, or hard boiled eggs. I don't like beans at all.
During pregnancy dreams are more vivid because we tend to wake up during or right after a dream. When I was waking up two or three times a night I had extremely vivid dreams that I easily remembered. Now I'm sleeping through the night and I can't remember anything but falling asleep and waking up.
I'm 32 weeks 4 days and have completely cut out naps unless I just get so tired I can't hold my eyes open. I also don't drink anything an hour or two before bedtime. This has greatly helped with my nighttime sleeping habits. I sleep all night long and don't have crazy dreams.
Ive never ben a meat eatter. I always eat a little bit of meat when for diner just because i know the protein is good for baby. I am a really picky eatter and most forms of protein i dont like, like i dont eggs or any of the protein bars, i think there nasty.
I have been having some pretty crazy dreams to. My most recent one was my fiance and myself drove 8 hours to see my aunt that lives in another state and when we got there she got really mad at us and told us to leave and not come back til next year because we interupted the new episode of NCIS and then i woke up, it was crazy dream lol.
As some one else already stated most preggo's only make it to REM stage so we get alot more dreams than normal
On the dream aspect... You really don't deep sleep pregnant. You only reach the REM stage.... Which is the stage where you dream. And for whatever reason when your pregnant you tend to have more vivid life like dreams. Hope that helps.
Beans, lentils, legumes, eggs...you can do some protein bars and protein shakes if you think you're not getting enough protein, you should probably ask your OB about recommendations. I drink protein shakes sometimes since I'm not a natural meat-eater and I'm in the third trimester when the baby's protein needs are pretty high.
